desert cairn
We built this cairn while staying with Ian and Katie, surrounded by the vast sagebrush of Reno, NV. It was summer, and the landscape stretched in soft hues of ochre, rust, and sage. The sky shifted daily, painted with hazy golds and muted purples, mirroring the ever-changing landscape. This cairn stands as a reflection of the desert—its form reminiscent of the junipers and pines that dot the horizon. Built with intention and presence, it holds the colors and energy of a season of transformation.
